A Task 1 table about car produciton.
The graph below shows the number of cars produced in three countries in 2003, 2006 and 2009.
The table compares how many cars were produced in Argentina, Australia, and Thailand in three years: 2003, 2006, and 2009. Overall, Thailand was the major car producer among the three countries over the entire period. Australia followed next, experiencing a substantial decline—albeit one that resulted in it being overtaken by Argentina.
-
Car production in Thailand started at 787,000 in 2003 and peaked at 1,180,000 after three years. Although the number of automobiles produced declined to 999,879, Thailand maintained the highest car production levels among the three countries.
-
Australia was the second primary manufacturer of cars among the three nations, initially accounting for 538,000. Throughout the ensuing six-year period, its number decreased dramatically to 225,000, eventually constituting nearly four times fewer automobiles produced compared to Thailand.
-
However, starting at 166,000, the number of cars manufactured in Argentina experienced an opposite trend, more than doubling to 420,000 by 2006 and exceeding the figure for Australia. Despite a further increase to 510,000 after three years, Argentina still lagged far behind Thailand in terms of automobile production.
