Overall, although the primary part did not change considerably, additional facilities and a new building block have been introduced to the ground floor of the university department. In 2000, all the facilities were located inside the primary building. The main entrance was linked to the junction of two roads, one coming from the west to the east and another from the south. Inside the building, there was a corridor providing access to three seminar rooms and a library adjacent to the office, which was located at the south-eastern corner. Additionally, plants were situated to the east of the department.

Over the 15-year period, the university department has undergone a major transformation. The addition of a spacious car park near the entrance was the first noticeable update. Furthermore, the corridor inside has been extended to accommodate two more seminar rooms of the same size as the others, while the previous office has been significantly enlarged, yet still was smaller than the seminar rooms. The green area was removed to make way for a new block, which now contains an IT center in the north and a relocated library on the opposite side, separated by a corridor.
