The table below depicts the information about the posts held by women in parliament and in management in 5 countries in 2000.

The table compares Canada, Ukraine, Egypt, Rome, and Italy in terms of the proportion of seats held by women in parliament and management in 2000. Overall, the percentages of women-held seats in government in Canada, Egypt, and Italy were higher, whereas Ukraine and Rome recorded larger shares in management.
Main Body 1:
The largest proportions of seats held by women in parliament were in Canada (54%) and Egypt (52%), followed by Italy, at 40%. Despite such a high level of involvement in government, the shares of seats held by women in management were significantly smaller in these countries: while Canada and Egypt had an identical proportion of 36%, the figure for Italy was 11% lower.
Main Body 2:
An opposite pattern was observed in Ukraine and Rome. Unlike the other three countries, women accounted for smaller shares of parliamentarians in Ukraine (23%) and Rome (10%); yet they held larger proportions of managerial roles, at 40% and 52%, respectively.
